Lake Arrowhead, California
Lake Arrowhead, California and Lake Arrowhead Village are Jamie's home away from home. The lake and the village are located at about 5,000 feet elevation in the San Bernardino Mountains, east of Los Angeles.
Lake Arrowhead is Jamie's place to swim. She loves to jump off her boat dock and retrieve her floppy (a floating flying saucer) —over and over and over. She also likes to go for a boat ride on the Venture 4th and feel the fresh mountain breeze blowing her Golden Retriever ears back.
Lake Arrowhead Village is a wonderful shopping place, with about fifty retail stores and factory outlets and lots of children who like to pet Golden Retrievers.
Jamie's favorite shop at Lake Arrowhead Village is the Wishing Well, because they have a doggie water dish, they welcome doggies inside, and they give doggies really big, tasty puppy treats.
Jamie also loves to wander into the Three Dog Bakery at Lake Arrowhead Village. She always gets a friendly "welcome," and she knows there's a tasty sample puppy treat in store for her. A lot of her puppy toys come from the Three Dog Bakery.
